Before you book
Homes usually need one of two things: regular upkeep, or a one-off clean around a move, a renovation or a festival.
Regular home cleaning and part-time maid visits are charged by the hour, and you provide the cleaning supplies. One-off cleans are quoted on scope after we see photos, and for deep, move-in/move-out and post-renovation cleaning we bring the equipment and supplies.
How much does home cleaning cost?
Regular home cleaning is usually $18–22 per hour, with a 3-hour minimum (2 hours may be considered for smaller homes). A part-time maid is $23.98 per hour including GST ($22 before GST), with a 2-hour minimum. One-off cleans are quoted on scope after we see photos.
Home cleaning or a part-time maid: which do I need?
A part-time maid suits households that want help with chores, such as laundry and ironing, on set days each week from a regular cleaner. Regular home cleaning suits you if you only need cleaning sessions, one-off or recurring.
Is hiring a part-time helper legal in Singapore?
MOM does not allow a foreign domestic worker to work part-time for anyone other than her employer. For part-time help, MOM points households to companies on its Household Services Scheme (HSS) list, which includes KleanSG.
Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?
Yes, for regular home cleaning and part-time maid visits: please prepare your own supplies and equipment. For deep, move-in/move-out and post-renovation cleaning, we bring the equipment, supplies and chemicals. For spring cleaning, supplies and equipment can be included if you request them.
